The Thermo Scientific Seal-It 100 automated adhesive sealer is highly robust and reliable and, while designed for optimal robotic integration in high throughput environments, the instrument allows manual, bench top control. A selection of adhesive seals provides flexibility for diverse application needs.
Application Flexibility. The Thermo Scientific Seal-It 100 automated adhesive sealer enables heat-free sealing of crystallography plates and breathable seal application, with additional options for optically clear and pierceable sealing needs. Adhesive seals for PCR, QPCR and crystallography can be removed without
leaving sticky residue on the plates and wells. With five plate adapters, seal 96-, 384- and 1536-well plates, including PCR plates and plates with heights from 10 mm to 50 mm.
Operation Options. The Seal-It 100 sealer is equipped with both on-board touch screen operation for bench top use and an RS232 port and included programming parameters for robotic integration.
Accuracy and Efficiency. Sealing pressure may be adjusted for optimal seal integrity and accuracy of +/- 0.25 mm, assuring a quality seal every time. Achieve throughput of 300 plates per hour with minimal user intervention and plan ahead for seal replacement with low level sealing material indicators.
