Low profile, lightweight, one-piece frame constructed of lightweight but durable aluminum alloy follows the back's contour and puts the bulk of the SCBA's weight on the hips, where padded wrap around wings provide added comfort.
• Harness System
Wide-bodied pads that distribute weight along the shoulders and hips.
Retro-reflective front patches on the harness enhance nighttime visibility of the user. Parachute-style harness fasteners permit smooth, efficient adjustment.
Quick doffing is assured because the oversized fasteners are easily manipulated with gloved hands.
A one-finger release disengages the waist belt buckle.
• Cylinder Changes
A double-latching latch and durable Kevlar fabric band permit fast, easy and efficient cylinder changes.
Simple adjustment of a cam-over-center slide permits the accommodation of 30, 45, or 60-minute duration cylinders.
• E-Z Flo® Regulator Is a pressure-demand system that out-performs all others in performance
and simplicity. It delivers as much as 160 LPM when compared to the NFPA 100 LPM minimum. It is capable of a peak flow of 500 LPM. An airsaver switch, angled for easy operation with a gloved hand, stops the free flow of air during donning and doffing. This allows the user the advantage of placing the SCBA in a stand-by mode with an activated cylinder ready for action without spending cylinder air. |
