| | 5706 | Imager:Cassette | Spectroline | Monotec | | Available | Description/Details: 8 X 10
In autoradiography, a radioactively labeled probe is hybridized with a specimen material which is contained in a gel (polyacrylamide or agarose) or on a membrane (nylon or nitrocellulose). The hybridized specimen is then placed inside a cassette where it is in contact with a high-speed X-ray film. After the cassette is stored at a temperature of -70°C for a few days, the radioactivity forms an image representing the spatial distribution of the sample under investigation.... |
| | | 3041 | Imager:Eraser | Fuji | Image Eraser 3 | IPE4046 | Available | Description/Details: Image Eraser is a specially designed light box used to erase latent images formed on storage phosphor screens.... |
| | | 5416 | Imager:Eraser | Amersham Biosciences | Image Eraser | 810-UNV | Available | Description/Details: Image Eraser - Erases storage phosphor screens for reuse. The Storm instrument connects to a computer (not included) running the Microsoft Windows operating system and uses Scanner Control software (ImageQuant TL). This Storm instrument scans samples using the Storage phosphor scan acquisition mode.... |
| | | 3040 | Imager:Phosphor | Fuji | Phosphor | IPR1800 | Available | Description/Details: Especially suited for highthroughput macro array image analysis the Fujifilm BAS-1800II provides the ideal configuration for a low-cost imager that
requires only a small amount of space in the laboratory. Despite its small size, this unit delivers powerful performance including the high level of quantitative accuracy, resolution and linearity of data you have learned to expect from
Fujifilm Bio-imaging Analyzers (BAS). An optimized system for macro array image analysis, the BAS 1800II features an enlarged imaging area of 23 cm x 25 cm, for use with 22 cm x 22 cm membranes, and optional macro array analysis software for use with Windows® 95, Windows® 98, and Windows® NT ver.4.0.
This makes the BAS 1800II the most suitable
imager for macro array image analysis.... |
| | | 2614 | Imager:Phosphor | Fujix | BAS-1000 | | Available | Description/Details: The BAS-1000 maintains a high level of quantitative accuracy, resolution and linearity of data that the pioneer of Bio-imaging Analyzer Systems has come to be known for, while requiring only little space in the laboratory. ... |
| | | 2670 | Imager:Phospor Screen | GE Healthcare / Molecular Dynamics | Phosphor Screen Storage | | Available | Description/Details: Molecular Dynamics, Storage Phosphor Screen, Size: 35 x 43 cm, Storage phosphor screens retain energy from beta particles, X-rays, and gamma rays, and require exposure times that are 50% to 90% shorter than that of conventional film. Upon laser-induced stimulation, light is emitted from the storage phosphor screen in proportion to the amount of radioactivity in the sample.
Screen Styles
Mounted screens are permanently fixed to an aluminum backing plate. They require an exposure cassette. Older PhosphorImager™ Systems require mounted screens. Mounted screens are also compatible with Typhoon™ and Storm™ systems, but not with Typhoon FLA 9000 and Typhoon FLA 7000 imagers.
